What Thinking with AI is
Thinking with AI is a transferable professional skill for working with AI as a thinking partner rather than simply a tool for generating answers.
The goal is not to teach prompts or AI software. It is to help people think more clearly about meaningful problems, make stronger decisions, and develop a repeatable way of collaborating with AI without giving up their own judgment, expertise, or responsibility.
The method combines human experience, structured conversation, and AI’s ability to explore alternatives, recognize patterns, synthesize information, and expand possibilities.
Because the skill is not tied to a particular model, app, or prompt library, it can travel across tools, roles, industries, and problems as AI continues to change.
Developed over time, the skill can help people become more capable, productive, and professionally valuable — while making complex work more exploratory, creative, and engaging.
The Spark Session
A Thinking with AI Spark Session is a live, 90-minute collaborative working session focused on one meaningful business question, decision, opportunity, or challenge.
You bring the real situation: your experience, context, judgment, values, and what is at stake. Together, we clarify the underlying problem, explore possibilities, recognize patterns, test assumptions, and use AI where it can genuinely expand the thinking.
The goal is not to produce an impressive AI answer. It is to make meaningful progress on the problem you brought—and to help you experience a more useful way of thinking with AI that you can continue using afterward.
Each session includes a written Spark Brief summarizing key insights, decisions, and practical next steps.
How the three-way collaboration works — client + facilitator + AI
Thinking with AI brings together three participants, each contributing something different and essential.
You — the client
You bring lived experience, business context, judgment, values, and the real problem. You know your business, your constraints, and what matters most.
The facilitator
I bring structure, pattern recognition, thoughtful questioning, practical business experience, and stewardship of the conversation. My role is not to have every answer, but to help create the conditions in which better answers can emerge.
AI
AI contributes rapid exploration, alternative perspectives, synthesis, organization, and creative expansion. It can surface possibilities and connections that might otherwise be missed.
None of the three replaces the others. The value emerges through collaboration.
What the client leaves with
A Spark Session is designed to create progress on the problem you bring — but the larger goal is to leave you more capable than when you arrived.
You leave with:
greater clarity about the real problem
stronger strategic thinking
practical next steps
greater confidence in your own judgment
a written Spark Brief capturing the key insights, decisions, and recommendations from the session
a repeatable way of thinking with AI that you can continue using on your own
The goal is not dependence on Hybrid Mind Group or on AI.
The real product is increased capability — a transferable professional skill for thinking with AI that becomes more valuable as AI itself becomes more capable.
Ready to think together?
If you have a meaningful business question, decision, opportunity, or challenge you’d like to explore through a Spark Session, I’d be glad to hear from you.
